FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q How do you test gold and silver?
A Every item is tested right in front of you using industry-standard methods to determine purity and karat weight. We walk you through the process so you understand exactly how your item's value is determined — no back rooms, no guesswork.
Q How do you determine what my jewelry is worth?
A Value is based on metal content (gold/silver purity), current market prices, weight, and condition. For diamonds and gemstones, we also evaluate the 4 Cs (cut, clarity, color, carat). We explain our evaluation clearly so you leave with a confident understanding of the offer.
Q Do you buy broken or damaged jewelry?
A Yes. Broken clasps, single earrings, and damaged pieces can still hold significant value based on metal content — condition affects price but rarely disqualifies an item entirely.
Q Is there any obligation to sell once I get an evaluation?
A No. All evaluations are free and come with zero obligation to sell. You're welcome to think it over and come back another time.
Q What items do you buy?
A We buy gold, silver, coins, diamonds and fine jewelry, watches (including luxury brands like Rolex and Omega), antiques, estate items, and sports memorabilia.
Q Do I need an appointment?
A Walk-ins welcome, or by appointment or house calls
Q What should I bring with me?
A Just bring the item(s) you'd like evaluated. If you have original documentation, certificates of authenticity, or appraisals, feel free to bring those too — they can help support the evaluation, though they aren't required.
Q How is pricing determined for gold and silver — does it change daily?
A Yes, gold and silver prices fluctuate daily based on the market. Our offers reflect current market pricing at the time of your visit.
Q Where are you located?
A 344 Nassau Street, Suite 105, Princeton, NJ. 12-4 daily. 12-2 on Saturday Closed on Thursday
